Application Dates and Total Posts
The application process for this recruitment has begun on January 27, 2026, and will continue until February 27, 2026. A total of 8 posts will be filled under the JAG Entry, which includes both male and female candidates.
Age Limit Requirements
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age and at least 27 years of age. Age will be calculated as of July 1, 2026. That is, the candidate must not have been born before July 2, 1999, and after July 1, 2005.
What are the required educational qualifications?
For JAG entry, a candidate must have at least 55 percent marks in an LLB degree. This qualification applies to both three-year LLB (after graduation) and five-year LLB (after 10+2) courses.
CLAT PG 2025 Score Required
A valid CLAT PG 2025 score is mandatory for this recruitment. This requirement also applies to candidates who have completed or are currently pursuing an LLM.
Bar Council Eligibility
Candidates must be eligible for registration as advocates with the Bar Council of India or the relevant State Bar Council. Furthermore, the candidate's degree must be from a college or university recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Applications for JAG entry into the Indian Army will be accepted only online. Candidates can register by visiting the joinindianarmy.nic.in website and going to the 'Officer Entry Application/Login' section. Pre-registered candidates can log in directly. Afterward, they must apply for the SSC JAG Entry Course by going to the 'Apply Online' option on the dashboard.
What information will be required when filling out the form?
Personal information, contact details, educational qualifications, and previous SSB-related information must be filled in step-by-step in the application form. After each section, click 'Save & Continue'. Finally, verify all information on the Summary page and click 'Submit'.
Why is it important to keep a printout of the form?
After completing the application process, candidates are advised to preserve at least two printouts of the application form with their roll numbers by the deadline.
